Overview
Hope’s Place is a pregnancy resource and support center located in Northwest Kansas that is run by a board of directors and is currently staffed by volunteers. All of our volunteers are trained in the L.O.V.E. approach. Which is to Listen, Open Options, Visualize and Empower. We seek to empower women and men to improve their lives and make good choices for themselves and their unborn babies from the moment they walk through our door. We do this through education, discussion and goal setting. We are a non-profit organization started by the Sherman County Kansan’s for Life Chapter. Our guiding principles are based on the teachings found in the Holy Bible and our vision is a community that, through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ, empowers everyone to have an abundant spiritual, physical, economic, and emotional respect for life. Our mission is through Christ’s love, we Preserve Life. We assist by connecting women to resources for babies and empowerment of family life. Anyone who feels like they need assistance is encouraged to come to the center, regardless of their circumstances!
Our Goals
We are looking to give pregnant women and local option to have their prenatal appointments instead of having to travel outside of town. We are working on designing a serenity walk. We will very soon be hosting workshops, parenting classes and programs for teens.
